Online Learning

The TeacherConvoy’s Online Learning Classroom is our latest endeavor to help our readers enhance their understanding on a range of educational practices, policies, and trends. We are working with our volunteers to populate this site with useful content for our readers. Preview our first course: Designing a Performance Assessment Task.

Course Formats: Our courses are offered on the TeacherConvoy’s Online Classroom (powered by TeacherTube) or on Udemy.com. All course are about 2 hours and the course content is broken down into small chunks/videos that last no longer than 3-5 minutes, so participants can learn at their own pace.  Each course section contains a range of learning materials – such as videos, handouts,  samples to simplify content.

Instructor(s):  Currently, G.Hill is our instructional systems designer. She is an and a volunteer for the TeacherConvoy. Course participants can read her profile on our course page.

Fees: All courses on the TeacherConvoy are free. Many of our team members feel that during these economic times it would not be proper to charge our readers.

Additional Information: Our courses do not carry any credit. There are also no assignments associated with this course.  If an instructor does assign “homework,” it is meant to help participants with their understanding and development, not for grade points.
